To get yourself a nice avatar and siggy, go to "My Controls"
then for an avatar:
1) Go to edit avatar settings
2) Upload your avatar (no more than 90 x 90 pixels) onto something like photobucket
3) Using the URL that they give you put it in the box next to "enter a URL"
4) Press update avatar
for a sig:
1) Make sure that it is no wider than 550 pixels so that it won't distort the page.
2) Upload it to photobucket
3) This time copy the URL with the [img] [ / img] around it
4) Go to edit signature
5) Copy the link into the box
6) Click on update my signature

Yeah make sure [ img ] is at the start and [ /img ] is at the end. You have no idea how people get that wrong.

Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for an account.
After you've joined log in and then you'll get the page and it'll have a browse and upload button. Find the picture you want to upload and click upload and it will do it for you then give you a thumbnail pic of it and the URL.

haha I'm happy to help, but for some reason, most newbies ask me for help, or a new sig then disappear. Stay!

Yeah, never make a sig for a newbie, you don't know if they'll stick around or not.
